The combined group touring the cricket grounds. We were able to watch some of a cricket practice and admire Modern's pool (our new pool has them beat, but they have a three-tiered diving platform!).

Peddie's India program is part of the Peddie School Asian Studies Program, which includes curricular components as well as an established sister school exchange program with EFZ in Shanghai, China.

front page articles in both the asian wall street journal and the financial times this week on pending legislation in india to reserve some 35% of election seats for women. very controversial. highlights indian government attempts to improve women's rights. find this interesting looking at pictures of the next generation of women in each culture meeting and mixing. such different histories. perhaps less different futures.
