Three boys from a ramshackle school built alongside the railroad tracks, operated by Saalam Balaak Trust. The boys were having a lot of difficulty concentrating because their makeshift homes were scheduled for demolition the next day to make way for the Commonwealth Games in October. (It's good to know that India is learning something from China.) Unfortunately, they had to cut their lesson short when the power went out.
Very emotional...even without the first-hand experience. A real eye-opener for our students. All of us take so much for granted.
