It's almost 1 a.m. and we leave for Uttarakhand at 5:30 a.m., so I'm going to have to cut this short for now. I'll leave you with this precious gem from Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque. Only Chris and I were deemed appropriately dressed for entrance into the mosque, while these other heathens and infidels had to don some very attractive additional clothing to bring themselves into compliance with a recently-tightened dress code.
When I told Charlie that any gift would be appreciated, I never considered that she might find something quite so "unusual"...certainly not my color!
